Stephanie Tashiro, Ph.D.
Senior Associate
Stephanie Tashiro has over 16 years of experience supporting federal, state, and local resilience, emergency management, homeland security, and environmental health programs. In particular, Stephanie has extensive experience in national preparedness, federal readiness, and disaster mitigation, response, and recovery.
Before joining Cadmus, Stephanie was the Deputy Chief Resilience office for the City of Miami where she oversaw city-wide resilience programs in conjunction with the larger region. She also led disaster recovery and mitigation for the City of Miami and supported the Urban Areas Security Initiative and the Sea-Level Rise Committee. Stephanie also served as the training chair for the Southeast Florida Regional Domestic Security Task Force and taught a vulnerability and risk assessment course to master’s students at Florida International University.
Stephanie earned her doctorate in exposure assessment from Rutgers and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Delaware.
