Martina Richwien

Martina specializes in process management and facilitation, including for large-scale and politically sensitive projects, in the fields of climate mitigation and climate adaptation. An expert facilitator and moderator, she has extensive experience in the design, moderation, and facilitation of various participation formats, ranging from workshops to major international conferences. In addition, she has many years of experience in the field of regional development and innovation processes, including delivering strategic consultation for and designing regional and pan-regional networks in sustainability management.
Before joining ifok in 2000, Martina worked at the State Office for Environmental Protection of the Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt. She also worked as an independent planner and moderator on regional development concepts and the United Nations Agenda 21 sustainable development action plan process.
Martina studied biochemistry at the Martin Luther University in Halle/Saale and holds a second degree in environmental engineering, with a specialization in planning, from the University of Kassel.
