Kathrin Bimesdoerfer

Kathrin advises international organizations, national ministries, associations, and businesses on intersectoral management, change processes, and policy in the economic, energy, and climate realms.
Kathrin is an expert in dialogue facilitation and serves as a lecturer for the GIZ International Leadership Training and the Leuphana University in Lüneburg. Before joining ifok GmbH, she worked with the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) in China and Laos as a consultant on public-private dialogue processes.
Kathrin graduated as a McCloy Fellow from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University with a Master’s in Public Policy and a focus on sustainable development–specifically economic and cluster policy and corporate sustainability and change management. Before that, Kathrin obtained a degree from Heinrich Heine University and studied in Montpellier and Beijing with a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation.
