Cadmus To Perform Electric Vehicle Workplace Charging Study for SMUD

WALTHAM, Mass., December 15, 2017—The Cadmus Group LLC (Cadmus) announced today that it has been awarded a contract with Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) to conduct a quantitative and qualitative research study examining electric vehicle (EV) workplace charging at SMUD and within the Sacramento community. The study will investigate the effectiveness of SMUD’s Workplace EV Charging Program, with the goal of helping SMUD develop a long-term plan for EV workplace charging.

SMUD began serving Sacramento in 1946 and is now the nation’s sixth-largest community-owned electric utility. SMUD provides reliable, affordable electricity to most of Sacramento County and a portion of Placer County, and is recognized nationally and internationally for its innovative energy efficiency programs and renewable power technologies.
