Cadmus Team Awarded EV Smart Fleets Initiative Analysis Contract
WALTHAM, Mass., December 23, 2016—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that it is part of a team that has been awarded a contract to support CALSTART on the EV Smart Fleets Initiative. EV Smart Fleets’ mission is to develop an aggregate purchasing model for electric vehicles (EVs) to support the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program and its work with nearly 100 local coalitions to decrease the use of petroleum in transportation.
Cadmus is supporting prime contractor Atlas Public Policy on this project, and will be conducting analysis of the multiple procurement model options that will contribute to reducing the cost of zero-emissions vehicle (ZEV) ownership for public fleets. To support this undertaking, Cadmus will develop a user-friendly, analytical tool allowing for region-specific analysis and sensitivity analysis of the ZEV market by stakeholders.
Cadmus conducts financing research that explores options for encouraging investments in green infrastructure and development. We work with governments, utilities, businesses, and nonprofit organizations to develop and evaluate programs that remove financial hurdles to investment in clean energy, energy efficiency, and infrastructure. Our sustainable transportation solutions help lower fuel dependence, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect critical assets, and support healthy communities and habitats while managing costs across the life cycle.
