About Christina Becker-Birck
Christina Becker-Birck leads Cadmus’ climate portfolio that supports federal, state, local and international governments on emerging renewable energy, climate mitigation and resilience issues. This work is a key pillar of Cadmus’ mission to help clients achieve extraordinary results that strengthen society and the natural world.
She recently led Cadmus’ expansion into the Eastern and Southern Caribbean region by securing a three-year USAID contract, the Policy and Regulatory Reform for Resilience Activity. PROSE helps governments integrate comprehensive disaster management and climate adaptation approaches into national and regional policies and plans.
“The Caribbean region is among the world’s most vulnerable to climate change, and long-term disaster risk reduction planning is essential for building resilience,” Becker-Birck said.
Why Watch
Becker-Birck is leading the expansion of Cadmus’ climate capabilities, with a focus on integrating change management, governance and data analytics into the company’s climate services. She is also supporting federal clients with integrating equity into their programs, such as the Energy Department’s SolSmart technical assistance program to help local governments grow their solar energy markets.
“Christina helps Cadmus clients achieve their climate goals through her global perspective and innovative approach to addressing technical and policy challenges,” said Cadmus Senior Vice President Nathan Smith. “We will continue to see her impact grow as she helps federal agencies and state and local governments implement the climate programs created by the inflation reduction act and the bipartisan infrastructure law.”
