Effective Well Management Using the J100 Framework and Methodology

Gamze Gungor Demirci, Ph.D., an associate on Cadmus’ planning and assessment team, was awarded the 2021 AWWA Water Resource Sustainability Division Best Paper Award for the paper, Effective well management using the J100 framework and methodology.

“It is such an honor for me to receive this award from AWWA. To be recognized by my peers for working on something as important as water is very special. I sincerely thank the co-authors of this paper, Dr. Juneseok Lee and Dr. Jonathan Keck, for all their contributions and support. I also greatly appreciate the funding provided by the California Water Service Company for this project,” said Gamze.

Gamze supports electric utility clients by conducting engineering data analysis on utility energy efficiency program planning and potential assessment. In addition, she provides technical review and project management support for various projects. Combining her expertise in water and wastewater with energy, she also provides technical assistance for projects helping water/wastewater treatment plants become more energy efficient, sustainable, and resilient.
